What we keep when you make a profile, and why.

What we store

Your email; a password hash (argon2, never the password) or your Google account id if you sign in with Google; and the name, date, time and place of birth you enter. A session cookie keeps you logged in for 30 days. If you ask for a password reset, we email you a one-use link (valid 60 minutes) through Gmail.

Why

Only to draw your chart and today's transits on your profile page. We do not sell, share or publish it, send no marketing email, and run no advertising or third-party trackers. Place search runs inside our own app.

Where

The site runs on Render and your account is stored in a Neon Postgres database, both in the United States (AWS, Ohio), behind Cloudflare. Google sees only that you signed in with it, if you choose that.

Your rights

On the birth details page you can change your details, download all of them, or delete your account; deletion removes them from the database at once (the database provider's restore history keeps them for at most 7 days). Questions or grievances: [email protected].
