Test H11 · 2016–2023
Gochar stock picking Beat 97.5% of shifted calendars
Claim: Stocks whose listing-date Moon is favoured by Jupiter and Saturn do better next month.
How it was tested
Each stock's chart is cast for its NSE listing day at 09:15 IST. On the first trading day of each month, a stock is "favoured" if Jupiter is in the 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th or 11th sign from its listing Moon and Saturn is not in Sade Sati. The measure is the favoured stocks' average return that month minus the rest of the liquid universe, averaged over 95 months. Controls: 2,000 placebo calendars, and charts shuffled between companies. Read Gochar for a worked example. The rule now runs live as the Astro picks paper portfolio.
